What is a website growth report?
A website growth report is a client-facing document that scores a business's website out of 100, explains the score through a weighted evaluation, lists the specific issues found with a suggested fix for each, and shows redesign concepts built from that business's own logo, colours and photography.
The report is the whole product from the prospect's point of view. Everything else — the search, the scoring, the tracking — exists to produce this one document and put it in front of the right person.
What each section does
The document is structured to be read by a busy owner, top to bottom.
The score, first
One number, immediately, with the potential score beside it so the gap is obvious.
The evaluation
Each weighted check with its own result, so the score is explained rather than asserted.
Issues and fixes
Each problem with a severity and the specific change that would resolve it.
What is in the report?
The business name and details, the overall score with its potential score and improvement percentage, the number of parameters analysed, the key evaluation broken down by check, the current site shown as it is, the issues found with severity and a fix for each, and the proposed redesign concepts.
The site is audited
Ten weighted checks, live.
The report is generated
In your branding, with the business's own assets.
It is delivered
As a tracked link, a PDF, or both.
Engagement is tracked
Opens and clicks per report.
How the report is used
As the opening move, not the deliverable.
- Cold outreach — the report replaces the introductory pitch
- Pitch support — attached to a proposal for a prospect already in conversation
- Client reporting — a scheduled re-audit for retainer clients
- Scoping — findings become line items in a quote
Questions
Can the client edit or download it?
It is delivered as a shareable link, and can be downloaded as a PDF on Freelancer and Agency.
Are the redesign concepts generic?
No. They are built from the business's own logo, colours and photography.
Does the report mention WinSiteClients?
Not on a paid plan. On the free plan it carries WinSiteClients branding.
Can I change the wording?
Yes. The copy is set once in settings and reused on every report.
The document does the explaining
Generate one for a business in your area and read it as they would.
